Ah, hemorrhoids. Were you one of the lucky ones to experience the pleasure during your pregnancy? You don't have to answer that. What about your kids? Can children get hemorrhoids? One mom writes:
My three year old has been complaining about his bottom hurting during and after he has a bowel movement. My husband took a look and thinks he might have a hemorrhoid. I didn't know kids could get hemorrhoids! I wonder if anyone else has had this happen. It doesn't seem like Preparation H is suitable for children. How do you treat them? A sitz (sp?) bath? The never go away, right? I didn't think he was constipated, but I'm assuming he needs more fiber in his diet to keep things regular? Any ideas?

Yep, kids can get hemorrhoids:

They suggest a cold compress (which might not go over so well) or warm baths (much better). Also, prevention -- more fiber, more exercise. Good luck!
