Well, I've only visited a dollar store once -- the one across from Michael's in Beaverton -- and I only bought one thing: a pack of colored clothespins so that my daughter and I could make clothespin dolls. She loves making them, and it's something that we really enjoy doing together. Definitely worth a dollar (if not more)!

Books for the kids - and lots of little items to place in my "reward" basket (stickers, bubbles, stamps, etc) for when she earns a little something special.

yep, I have bought things there for rewards for potty training. A lot is crapola, and I hate to get into the habit of buying on the cheap with the expectation of having to buy another soon...what with all the crowding at the landfills. But for a few things that will hold up, it is a great resource.

The Dollar Tree is a dangererous shopping place for me! I go in intending only to buy a few things for projects (like Easter baskets or party favors), and somehow always leave spending something like $30+.

While shopping recently at Jo-Ann's Fabrics (SW Pacific Highway and SW Hall), I saw a sign in a currently vacant store window in the same shopping plaza that a new Dollar Tree will be opening up there. I didn't check to see if there was a specific opening date though.

My dad has these cute little ice cream dishes he got at the dollar store. I love them and covet them because they fit exactly one scoop of ice cream. Seems like most ice cream dishes for sale in this country have fallen prey to the "supersize me" model and are GIANT!

I had a desire to begin my firm, nevertheless I didn't have got enough amount of cash to do that. Thank heaven my colleague suggested to utilize the loan. Thus I received the financial loan and realized my old dream.
