Portland RiverFest 2009: August 20-23

Join the fun as Portland caps off the summer with the biggest event ever to celebrate the Willamette River, August 20-23.

RiverFest offers a family-friendly chance to come down by the riverside, get out on the water, take river tours, enjoy live music, learn first-hand about the river's history and environment, clean-up the riverbank, and view river spectacles. Free 3 Hour Women's Self-Defense Class: Sept 12, Tulen Center

Join us at the Tulen Center on September 12th from 1-4 PM for a FREE women's self-defense class! Help transform fear into action by learning effective and easy self-defense strategies and movements. Portland Children's Museum: Let's Put on a Show!

The Portland Children's Museum is excited to announce a special program for all the Broadway-bound kids! During this great summer class, children will write, produce, and perform in an original musical! Our resident acting coach is a veteran composer and has produced several musicals. Children will experience what theatre is like before opening night!!! Curtains up! 

Class is best suited for 4 years and up.

 Thursdays in July ( 9, 16, 23 & 30) 11am-Noon.
