Portland, OR: Just in time for the holidays, Curious Comedy Productions has baked FRUITCAKE: A Deliciously Improvised Holiday Treat for the Whole Family, running Sundays at 2:00pm November 30 through December 21 at Curious Comedy Theater located at 5225 NE Martin Luther King Ave. A completely improvised and interactive performance for all ages, Fruitcake will please kids and parents alike with music, art, games, laughter, and whatever those multicolored chewy edible brick-like thingies are.
Stacey Hallal, Artistic Director of Curious Comedy, said, There are so many families looking for affordable, quality entertainment thats fun for everyone. We offer just that every Sunday at two oclock.
From Its a Wonderful Life to Home Alone to A Christmas Story to Elf, everyone has a favorite family holiday classic. In Fruitcake, the cast and audience work together and spontaneously create a totally unique original holiday classic each week.
We hold our family-friendly productions on Sunday afternoon to ensure all ages can attend. People come after church, from the market and all over the area to enjoy wonderful comedic performances from our experienced improvisers. Kids come away from our performances knowing that they have a new place where their creativity is appreciated, stated Hallal.
Curious Comedy Productions is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the lives of kids, adults, and seniors through the art of comedy.
